Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of lumisconsult.md, operated by Lumis Consult, 27 Sfatul Tarii St., Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. By browsing the site or submitting a form, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Site operator

The site is operated by Lumis Consult, a law firm focused on intellectual property and an AGEPI-authorized agent. Contact: phone +373 79-450-659, email info@lumisconsult.md, postal address 27 Sfatul Tarii St., Chisinau. We are available on business days between 9:00 and 18:00.

2. Purpose of published content

Articles, FAQs, service descriptions, and other materials are general information only. They do not constitute personalized legal advice and do not, by themselves, create an attorney–client or agent–principal relationship. For advice tailored to your situation, request a consultation and enter into a written services agreement.

3. Professional services and contracts

Legal services and representation before AGEPI, EUIPO, WIPO, or other offices are provided only under a written contract with fees, timelines, and obligations agreed in advance. Sending a contact form or consultation request is an invitation to negotiate, not a commitment for us to take on your matter. We may decline a request, including for conflicts of interest or capacity reasons.

4. Trademark search tool

The trademark search queries public or third-party databases (including AGEPI). Results are indicative only: they do not replace a full legal analysis of availability, confusion risk, or filing strategy. We do not guarantee completeness, timeliness, or absence of technical errors. The decision to file with AGEPI remains yours, ideally after consulting us.

5. Intellectual property and liability

Text, design elements, the logo, and materials on the site belong to Lumis Consult or our licensors and are protected by law. Copying or reuse without written consent is prohibited, except for reasonable quotation with source attribution. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or damage arising from use of the site, temporary unavailability, or acts of third parties (including hosting or external database providers).

6. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes will first be addressed amicably; failing agreement, competent courts in Moldova shall have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
